Students in the Construction Trades program at the Warwick Area and Career Center are building the backdrop for Santa’s visit Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Oakland Beach branch of the Boys and Girls Clubs. The clubs have teamed up with Warwick Police and the Warwick Beacon to bring together two seasonal events – the Beacon’s pictures with Santa and the police annual toy drive. Photos will be featured in the Beacon’s Christmas edition. Prudence Pelletier points to the design the class picked for the event backdrop. And displaying the nearly completed project are her classmates Alex Terez and Jesse Potter. (Warwick Beacon photos)
