Warwick tax collectors knew what to expect as soon as bills were delivered – lines out the door at the City Hall Annex at Buttonwoods. While the bills have a first quarter payment deadline of July 15, the grace period has been extended to the end of the month as noted by the sign held by Alyson Jordan. Envelopes were provided at the drop box outside the annex for those not wanting to wait. Rhea Cornell took advantage of the service last Friday while others preferred to wait and get their payment officially stamped as having been received. (Warwick Beacon photos)
