Few places were as popular as the Warwick Public Library Saturday when it started selling beach parking passes. When the city’s initial order of 500 passes was quickly depleted, additional passes were ordered and the library took on the job of selling them. At one point Saturday the line stretched out the door, as more than 350 passes were sold. By noon on Monday an additional 150 passes had been sold. Parking passes for City Park Beach, Oakland Beach and Conimicut are not required until July 1. Passes are $20 for residents and $10 for resident senior citizens. Here Library Director Jana Peterson issues a pass to Susan Santos. (Warwick Beacon photo)
