House Speaker K. Joseph Shekarchi, left, and attorney Kevin Daley got to try on a couple of the more than 40 bike helmets the Rhode Island Association for Justice gave to Robertson School fourth graders on May 7. The effort is part of the association’s program to promote awareness of state law that requires children who are 15 years old and younger to wear a helmet while riding a bike, skateboard or scooter. Shekarchi fits a helmet for Mia Santos. Daley, president of the association fits one for Joseph Golato. (Warwick Beacon photos)
