FROM STAFF REPORTS The Bishop Hendricken basketball team edged Portsmouth 51-49 in a Division I battle earlier this week.

The Pats collected a key win when they topped Coventry on the road.
DJ Sollitto continued to pace Pilgrim with 13 points while Colby Barker added seven in the victory. GIRLS BASKETBALL
Burrillville 35, Pilgrim 31
The Lady Pats were edged by the host Broncos earlier this week at the Bronco Dome.
Faith Meade and Giana Ramos led Pilgrim with six points each in the loss. GIRLS SWIMMING
Pilgrim 65, Tolman 14
The Pilgrim girls swim team stayed hot this winter by cruising past Tolman last week on the road.
Kaylee Collins won the 200 free while Kara Lee won the 200 IM. Erin Cassady took home a win in the 50 free, while Charlotte McPherson won the 100 free. Collins also went on to take first in the 500 free.
Keaney Bayha, Allison Shaheen, McPherson and Abigail Steinhilder won the 200 free relay, while Cassady won the backstroke. Lee went on to take first in the breaststroke.
Collins, McPherson, Cassady and Lee combined to win the 400 free relay.
Bayha placed second in the 200 free while Shaheen took second in the 50. Madison Tatarian placed second in the 500 free, while Madison Ventura was runner up in the backstroke.
Shaheen also placed second in the breaststroke, while Bayha. Ventura, Steinhilder and Tatarian took second in the 400 relay.
