Wednesday’s nor’easter delivered sustained winds to Warwick of 40 MPH with gusts exceeding 55. More than 12,300 Warwick customers lost power at the height of the outages. National Grid crews were not able to work on fully returning the power until winds subsided. As of Wednesday afternoon Grid spokesman Ted Kreske reported that crews were working to restore feeders to the Drum Rock station. This house on Chapmans Avenue was one of two in Greenwood struck when winds uprooted trees. The other was on Potters Avenue. Meanwhile, crews with trucks from New Jersey waited at the Crowne Plaza parking lot for conditions to improve. (Warwick
