SEX OFFENDER

At 5:26 a.m. on July 18, Cranston Police arrested Bruce Peavy, 69, of 30 Howard Ave., Cranston, RI, on charges of Sexual Offender Registration Required (one count). The arrest was the result of a previously issued Arrest and Affidavit Warrant and subsequent pick-up at Harrington Hall. Peavy was held for morning arraignment (Violator).

 


DUI

At 4:13 p.m. on July 15, Cranston Police arrested Christopher Castrignano, 34, of 1865 Atwood Ave., Johnston, on charges of DUI – BAC Unknown. The arrest was the result of an accident that occurred at Phenix Avenue and West Hill Drive. Bail Violator.

At 1:15 a.m. on July 13, Cranston Police arrested Antonio Cueva, 26, of 75 Mathewson St., Apt. 8204, Cranston, on charges of DUI – BAC unknown and Breathalyzer Refusal (first offense). The arrest was the result of a traffic stop at the intersection of Pengrove Street and Gansett Avenue. Cueva awaited arraignment.


CHILD ABUSE

At 10:36 p.m. on July 16, Cranston Police arrested Osman Garcia, 48, of 41 Hoffman Ave., Cranston, on charges of Second Degree Child Abuse (one count). The arrest was the result of a disturbance call at 41 Hoffman Ave. Garcia was held for morning arraignment.


PROTECTION ORDER VIOLATION

At 11:31 p.m. on July 15, Cranston Police arrested Richard Datuono, 46, of 35 Mica Ave., Cranston, on charges of Violation of a Protection Order. The arrest was the result of a well being check at the aforementioned address. Datuono was arraigned and released.


STOLEN VEHICLE

At 10:45 a.m. on July 15, Cranston Police arrested Juan Castro, 51, of 114 Prairie Ave., Apt. 2, Providence, on charges of Possession of a Stolen Vehicle. The arrest was the result of a Flock hit. Castro was transported to Third District Court for arraignment.


DISORDERLY
CONDUCT

At 11:39 p.m. on July 17, Cranston Police arrested John Duffy, 58, of 53 Port Circle, Warwick, on charges of Disorderly Conduct (one count). The arrest was the result of a disturbance at the St. Mary's Feast Society (15 Phenix Ave.). Duffy was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released.

At 11:39 p.m. on July 17, Cranston Police arrested Kane Gautieri, 22, of 27 Wedge St., Cranston, on charges of Disorderly Conduct (one count). The arrest was the result of a disturbance at the St. Mary's Feast Society (15 Phenix Ave.). Gautieri was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released.

At 7:24 p.m. on July 17, Cranston Police arrested Lisa Pereira, 57, of 127 Mount View Drive, Cranston, on charges of Disorderly Conduct as a result of a disturbance at St. Mary’s Feast (15 Phenix Ave.). Pereira was released to appear.

At 11:25 p.m. on July 16, Cranston Police arrested Andres Reyes, 24, of 45 Clemence St., Apt. 2, Cranston, on charges of Disorderly Conduct (one count). The arrest was the result of a disturbance at 39 West on Phenix Avenue. Reyes was held for morning arraignment (Violator).

At 11:25 p.m. on July 16, Cranston Police arrested Asriel Alamo, 22, of 45 Clemence St., Apt. 2, Cranston, RI, on charges of Disorderly Conduct (one count). The arrest was the result of a disturbance at 39 West on Phenix Avenue. Alamo was held for morning arraignment.

At 10:02 p.m. on July 14, Cranston Police arrested Jarrod C. Powers Clowery, 20, of 75 Elwyn St., Cranston, on charges of Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of a disturbance at the St. Mary's Feast. Clowery awaited arraignment.


DUTY TO STOP

At 10:02 p.m. on July 14, Cranston Police arrested Christopher Castrignano, 35, of 1865 Atwood Ave., Cranston, on charges of Duty to Stop at an Accident Relating to an Attended Vehicle. The arrest was the result of an accident investigation in the area of Scituate Avenue and Apple House Drive. Castrignano awaited arraignment.


ACCIDENT

At 6:10 p.m. on July 12, Cranston Police arrested Yohnni Tetreault, 24, of 1585 Elmwood Ave., Cranston, on charges of Duty to Stop – Accident Resulting in Personal Injury, Reckless Driving/Eluding Police (two counts), Possession of Marijuana – over 2 oz., Resisting Legal or Illegal Arrest, Simple Assault (four counts),  Driving on a Suspended License-3rd/Greater (two counts), Obstruction of Officer in Execution of Duty and four Outstanding District Court Bench Warrants. The arrest was the result of a call for service in the area of Lakeside Ave. Tetreault awaited arraignment.


WARRANT

At 5:30 p.m. on July 15, Cranston Police arrested Joseph Vasquez, 30, for a Cranston Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Domestic Breaking and Entering. The arrest was a result of a call for service at 33 Knight St. Vasquez was arraigned and taken to the ACI as a violator.

At 4:20 p.m. on July 15, Cranston Police arrested Lawrence Carr, 50, on a Cranston Police Department Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Domestic Assault (two counts) and Domestic Disorderly Conduct (two counts). The arrest was a result of a call for service at 218 Park Ave. Carr was processed and taken to the ACI Intake as a violator.

At 2:01 p.m. on July 14, Cranston Police arrested William Simas III, 21, of 2788 Plainfield Pike, Cranston, on a Cranston Police Department Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for False Report of a Crime. The arrest was the result of Sixth District Court turning him over to CPD custody. Simas awaited arraignment by a Justice of the Peace.

At 2 a.m. on July 13, Cranston Police arrested Margaret Moura, 31, of 136 Brewster Road, Jewett City, CT, on two District Court Bench Warrants. The arrest was the result of a traffic stop at the Econo Lodge. Moura was transported to the ACI.

At 8:49 a.m. on July 12, Cranston Police arrested Erika B. Dzialo, 43, of 188 Farmington Ave., Cranston, on a Superior Court Bench Warrant as a result of a traffic stop at 158 Farmington Ave. Dzialo was transferred to Superior Court.


ASSAULT

At 1:08 a.m. on July 17, Cranston Police arrested Christopher Cipriano, 51, of 280 Mayfield Ave., Cranston, on charges of Simple Assault (one count), Disorderly Conduct (one count), Obstructing a Police Officer in Execution of Duty (one count) and Resisting Legal or Illegal Arrest (one count). The arrest was the result of a disturbance at 39 West on Phenix Avenue. Cipriano was held for morning arraignment.

At 8:05 a.m. on July 15, Cranston Police arrested Amanda Fritsche, 39, of 208 East St., Cranston, on charges of Domestic Simple Assault (two counts) and Domestic Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of a call for a disturbance at 208 East St. Fritsche was transported to Third District Court for arraignment.
