FIREARM POSSESSION

At 12:30 a.m. on May 29, Cranston Police arrested an unnamed male, 17, for possession of a ghost gun/undetectable firearm, possession of firearms by minors, possession of ammunition by minor and driving without a license . The arrest was the result of a car stop at 7-Eleven on Reservoir Avenue. The on duty Family Judge was contacted and ordered the male to be sent to intake at the RI Training School.


STOLEN VEHICLE

At 11:20 a.m. on May 27, Cranston Police arrested Maria Powell, 23, of 106 Fairview Ave., Providence, on charges of Possession of Stolen Vehicle. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop emanating from a Flock Hit. Powell awaited arraignment by a Justice of the Peace.

At 9:17 a.m. on May 23, Cranston Police arrested Jesse Greenwood, 25, homeless, West Warwick, on charges of Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Reckless Driving, Drag Racing, Eluding Police, Resisting Legal or Illegal Arrest, Third District Court Bench Warrant and Driving Without/Expired License. The arrest was the result of the Flock hit and accident. Greenwood awaited admission at Rhode Island Hospital.


DUI

At 12:56 a.m. on May 27, Cranston Police arrested Michael Reilly, 26, of 9 Silver Birch Road, Warwick, on charges of DUI – BAC Unknown (first offense), obstructing an officer and refusal to submit to a chemical test. The arrest was the result of an accident investigation at the intersection of Park and Strathcona. Birch awaited arraignment.

 


OFFICER OBSTRUCTION

At 5:52 a.m. on May 26, Cranston Police arrested Justin Morgan, 40, of 115 Blackamore Ave., Cranston, on charges of obstruction, resisting arrest and weapons other than a firearm prohibited. The arrest was the result of an investigative stop on Blackamore Avenue and Pontiac Avenue. Morgan was arraigned and released by a Justice of the Peace.


DISORDERLY CONDUCT

At 2:50 a.m. on May 26, Cranston Police arrested Babricha Ortiz Ariza, 21, of 11 Richter St., Providence, on charges of disorderly conduct. The arrest was the result of a disturbance at 107 Julia St. Ariza awaited arraignment.

At 2:50 a.m. on May 26, Cranston Police arrested Ashley Garcia, 22, of 22 Pumganset St., Providence, on charges of disorderly conduct. The arrest was the result of a disturbance at 107 Julia St. Garcia awaited arraignment.

At 5:46 p.m. on May 25, Cranston Police arrested Daniel Paul Gooch, 36, of 28 Hersey Rd., on charges of simple assaults, disorderly conduct and vandalism. The arrest was the result of a road rage investigation at Pontiac Avenue and Glenwood Road. Gooch was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released.

At 3:41 a.m. on May 25, Cranston Police arrested Jaime Plouff, 35, of 532 Laurel Hill Ave., Apt. 2, Cranston, on charges of Domestic Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of a call for service at the aforementioned address and an arrest and affidavit warrant from this department. Plouff awaited arraignment.

At 8:08 p.m. on May 23, Cranston Police arrested Solomon Ordonez, 25, of 12 Garden St., Cranston, on charges of Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest as a result of a noise ordinance complaint at the aforementioned residence. Ordonez was held for morning Court as a Bail Violator.


WARRANT

At 1:02 p.m. on May 30, Cranston Police arrested Jimmy J. Kuilan, 19, of 664 Social St., Apt. 1, Woonsocket, on charges of Domestic Vandalism, Domestic Disorderly Conduct and a Third District Court Bench warrant as a result of a disturbance call at 298 Magnolia St., Apt. 2. Kuilan was held for arraignment by the Justice of the Peace.

At 10:29 a.m. on May 27, Cranston Police arrested Homer Cable, 31, of 30 French St., Providence, on a Cranston Police Department Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Domestic Breaking and Entering Dwelling House without Consent, Domestic Felony Assault and Vandalism. The arrest was the result of police arresting Cable and being turned over at headquarters. Cable was transported to Third District Court for arraignment.

At 12:10 p.m. on May 25, Cranston Police arrested Amber Boyle, 30, of 203 Knollwood Ave., Cranston on a Bench Warrant issued from Third District Court as a result of a follow up investigation at the above listed address. Boyle was transported to the hospital.

At 7:37 p.m. on May 24, Cranston Police arrested John J. Moniz, 50, of 30 Howard Ave., Cranston, on a Cranston Police Warrant for Sexual Offender Address Change as a result of a warrant pick-up at 30 Howard Ave. Moniz was held for arraignment.

At 3:42 p.m. on May 24, Cranston Police arrested Manuel S. Castro, 36, of 216 Lincoln Ave., Providence, on a Sixth District Court Bench Warrant as a result of a traffic stop at 400 Reservoir Ave. Castro was transferred to the ACI.

At 2:01 p.m. on May 24, Cranston Police arrested David Tavarez, 42, of 19 Wilcox St., Warwick on a Woonsocket Police Arrest Warrant as a result of a traffic stop at 1058 Reservoir Ave. Tavarez was transferred to the Woonsocket Police Department.


RECEIVING STOLEN GOODS

At 1:08 p.m. on May 25, Cranston Police arrested Nicholas Bouthillier, 36, homeless, on charges of Receiving Stolen Goods & Obstructing an Officer in Execution of Duty as a result of a Flock hit at 1776 Independence Way. Bouthillier was held for arraignment.


ASSAULT

At 7:54 p.m. on May 24, Cranston Police arrested Michael Botelho, 32, of 101 Holland Ave., Riverside, on charges of Domestic Simple Assault & Domestic Disorderly Conduct as a result of a disturbance call at 17 Fairbanks St. Botelho was held for arraignment.

At 8:56 p.m. on May 23, Cranston Police arrested Kiara Zorilla-Rodriguez, 28, of 190 Leonard Jenard Drive, Pawtucket, on charges of Domestic Simple Assault and Domestic Disorderly Conduct as a result of a domestic disturbance at 431 Woodbine St. Zorilla-Rodriguez was held for morning court.


FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE

At 7:05 p.m. on May 24, Cranston Police arrested Edgar Rex Carlo, 64, of 38 Chestnut Hill Ave., Cranston, on charges of Fugitive from Justice & Disorderly Conduct as a result of a threats complaint at 1090 Cranston St. Carlo was held for arraignment.
