BREAKING & ENTERING

At 10:54 p.m. on Jan. 20, Cranston police arrested Michael Garelli, 40, of 30 Ruxton St., Cranston, on charges of Domestic Breaking and Entering as the result of a disturbance call at the aforementioned location. Garelli awaited arraignment.

DOMESTIC CHARGES

At 5:01 p.m. on Jan. 20, Cranston police arrested Steven Duarte, 48, of 110 Michael Drive, Cranston, on charges of Domestic Simple Assault and Domestic Disorderly Conduct as the result of a disturbance call at 110 Michael Drive. Duarte was arraigned by a Bail Commissioner and released.

At 3:21 p.m. on Jan. 19, Cranston police arrested Jeffrey Bomzer, 65, of 197 Harvard St., Cranston, on charges of Domestic Assault on Person over 60 with Bodily Injury. The arrest was the result of a call for service at the aforementioned address. Bomzer was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace.

SUSPENDED LICENSE

At noon on Jan. 20, Cranston police arrested Angel Stnelus, 32, of 29 Greely Ave., Providence, on charges of Driving with Suspended License third Offense and a Third District Court Bench Warrant as a result of a traffic stop at 30 Oaklawn Ave. Stnelus was transferred to District Court.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

At 10:49 a.m. on Jan. 20, Cranston police arrested William Francis Bretanha, 57, of 58 Frankfort St., Cranston, on charges of Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Legal or Illegal Arrest as a result of a disturbance call at 58 Frankfort St. Bretanha was transferred to District Court.

CHILD ABUSE

At 7:14 p.m. on Jan. 19, Cranston police arrested Derek Walls, 35, of 91 Pontiac Ave., No. 11 Cranston, on charges of Child Abuse – Second Degree. The arrest was the result of a call for service at the aforementioned address. Walla was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace.

ANIMAL ABANDONMENT

At 8:24 p.m. on Jan. 18, Cranston police arrested Jonathan Root, 36, of 57 Murray St., Providence, on charges of Abandonment of Animals as the result of a call for service at the intersection of Park Avenue at Cranston Street. Root was held for arraignment as a violator.

EMBEZZLEMENT

At 9:31 a.m. on Jan. 24, Cranston police arrested Reina L. Torres, 38, of 100 Tell St., Apt. 1, Providence, on charges of Embezzlement/Fraudulent Conversion Over $100 as a result of an embezzlement call from 7-Eleven on Plainfield Street. Torres was transferred to third District Court.

SHOPLIFTING

At 4:54 p.m. on Jan. 24, Cranston police arrested Emory Lange, 55, of 217 Diamond Hill Road, Woonsocket, on charges of Felony Shoplifting as the result of a shoplifting call at Lowe’s on Garfield Ave. Lange was arraigned by a Bail Commissioner and released.

WARRANT

At 6:27 p.m. on Jan. 24, Cranston police arrested Quyen Ngo, 27, of 60 Bethel St., Apt. A6, Cranston, for a third District Court Bench Warrant as the result of a motor vehicle stop on Phenix Avenue. Ngo was transported to the ACI.
