Pell Manor Christmas Party receives rave reviews

“This is without question a fantastic and festive feast,” District 25 Johnston state Sen. Frank Lombardo III told the crowd at the Pell Manor Tenants Association Christmas Party last Thursday night. “Great decorations, great food and great people!”
Lombardo, who had to make several other stops that night, made sure that the Pell Manor Tenants Association members enjoyed a special toast, as he donated bottles of red and white wine that were placed on every table.
“These people always do such a great job with all their themed parties,” said District 43 state Rep. Deborah Fellela, who is a regular at any and all Pell events. “Everyone is always so friendly; I love coming here!”
On a night when the Pell Manor Community Room was adorned with red and green table coverings and shiny gold and silver Christmas tree centerpieces, Ralph’s Catering – which is owned and operated by Johnston resident Ralph DeFusco – again put on what many people called a “super meal.”
“Ralph’s food is always great!” exclaimed Linda Folcarelli, who represents District 1 on the Johnston Town Council. “This pasta is great.”
“We had a great party!” noted Marty Church, who serves as president of the Pell Major Tenants Association who was joined by special guests Peggy Crowley – her sister – and niece Kaylin Crowley. “Like other people said, great food for great people.”
The annual holiday party also featured music by Debbie Celetti, who treated people to some Christmas tunes and other popular music.
Likewise, the night included a raffle for gift cards and two decorated gift baskets as well as the 50/50 drawing.
