Over the Rainbow is excited and enthusiastic for the start of the new school year beginning on Sept. 14. During their recent open house, parents were reassured of the safety protocol and left feeling confident to send their children to the program.

Their primary goal is to keep our students, parents, and teachers safe. Everyone at the center is trained and educated on COVID-19 guidelines and regulations. They take these procedures seriously. All staff members wear masks all day. Parents and visitors are not allowed into the building, families sign in/out their children using the Brightwheel app, as well as the screening checklist, and teachers meet parents and children outside where the temperature of the child is taken prior to entering the building.

To ensure that the children and teachers are safe, Over the Rainbow follows strict cleaning and hand washing procedures. Hands are washed very often, each child has his/her own box with crayons, markers, playdough, etc. Classroom toys and materials are sterilized after each use before given to another child. Teachers utilize social distancing with the children inside the classroom.

Amidst the COVID-19 concerns, Over the Rainbow continues to provide a high-quality education in a nurturing and engaging environment where the littlest learners are able to interact and play while staying safe. Over the Rainbow has earned a 4-star BightStars rating. All teachers are attending professional development and college classes.

Over the Rainbow has two convenient locations and is currently

enrolling for infants (Providence only), toddler and preschool and their new RI State Pre-K. Please contact them to schedule a virtual tour.
