New England Institute of Technology returns to all in-person classes in July Scott Freund, NEIT Executive Vice President at New England Institute of Technology announced this week.

The university increased in-person classes for the spring term that started March 29. All in-person classes start with the summer term starting July 19.

NEIT will continue to follow the COVID-19 guidance and regulations provided by the Rhode Island Department of Health, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the state government. Class delivery methods may be modified as COVID-19 conditions warrant. On-campus housing will remain open and continue to operate following COVID-19 safety protocols.

"Our administration, faculty and staff are looking forward to safely welcoming back all students for full in-person instruction on July 19th," said Freund. "Our students and faculty have worked diligently during the past several months as they continued to modify teaching and learning strategies through hybrid class delivery. Their return to campus full-time for classes and student activities will further strengthen our vibrant college community."

NEIT offers more than 50 technical and professional degree programs with a focus on experiential learning.
