Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Gendreau

Alison Roberto and Kevin Gendreau were united in marriage on September 15, 2012 at St. Martha's Church, East Providence by Father David E. Green. Stephen DeCesare was the organist. A reception followed at the Crowne Plaza.

The bride is the daughter of Albert G. and JoAnn Roberto of Cranston. She is a graduate of Cranston High School East and the Community College of Rhode Island. She is employed by the Rhode Island Department of Corrections.

The groom is the son of Edward and Renette Gendreau of Swansea, Mass. He is a graduate of Joseph Case High School. He is employed by Martelly Construction Corp.

The bride wore a light ivory, strapless gown made of matte-satin with Swarovski crystal accents, a cathedral length veil and carried a bouquet of white calla lilies.

Lindsay McKeever was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Michelle Moynihan, Nicole Iadimarco, Malari Martin, cousin of the bride, and Jacqueline Shammas. Jenna Medeiros, the groom's niece, and Chelsia Perreault were flower girls.

Scott Hutzal was best man. Groomsmen were Jonathan Roberto, brother of the bride, James DiSano, Zachary Lake and Michael Sears. Jason Medeiros, the groom's nephew, was the ring bearer.

The couple makes their home in Rhode Island.
