The Conimicut Village Association will hold a “Meet the Candidates” event Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. in the lower level of Woodbury Union Church.
The CVA has invited the candidates for Ward 4 City Council, those for State Representative for District 21 and District 22, and those for Senate District 29. The candidates will each have 3 minutes to introduce themselves and their platform and then there will be about 10 minutes for Q&A for each group of those candidates. This will continue by position until all have had an opportunity to speak and answer questions. Conimicut residents are urged to attend to meet the people seeking to represent them.
