This is the 3rd annual showcase of Emerging Artists. The showcase includes more than 90 artworks gives visitors a window into the world view of each young artist.
Since its first year more than 80 students have participated in this important opportunity at the WCFA. This year's show includes three returning artists: Mollee Daniels (Rhode Island College), Rylie Paull (Mass. College of Art and Design) and Victoria Venditto (Blue Door Studio). Among the schools represented in addition to these are Pratt Institute, Salve Regina, RISD, and local high schools and technical schools from Warwick and surrounding areas. The success of the Emerging Artists showcase can be seen in the path of our prior First Place artist Kyra Garabedian, who has since graduated from Rhode Island College with a degree in art education and has been teaching art classes at WCFA.
