On Saturday, June 19 at 1 p.m., friends of the Shaw
family are hosting a Super Sonic Saturday to benefit
Warwick's pint-sized superhero, Rowan Shaw.
Rowan is currently facing another 10-month stretch of
chemotherapy to treat his metastatic neuroblastoma.
The family-friendly event will be held at the Elks Lodge
at 1915 West Shore Road and will feature a live DJ, face
painting, balloon animals, character appearances, and
more. Tickets are $20, children 10 and under are free,
and all proceeds will support the Shaw family. To purchase tickets, contact Jeanne at (401) 497-5001.
