Due to the potential forecast of Tropical Storm/Hurricane Henri, the COVID-19 vaccination clinic scheduled at the Johnston Indoor Recreation Center, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. for Monday, Aug. 23, has been canceled.
The clinic has been rescheduled to Thursday, Aug. 26, from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m., at the Johnston Indoor Recreation Center.
This clinic is for those between the ages of 12 and 18, or for people looking to acquire a third/booster shot. The clinic will offer the first, second, and third/booster dose of the Pfizer BioTech COVID-19 vaccine. The third dose is for those people who have been fully vaccinated for eight months or longer.
Those registering to receive a third/booster dose of Pfizer BioTech COVID-19 vaccine must have a medical condition that causes moderate to severe immunosuppression.
