Jennifer Lee, MS PT, will serve as interim president and executive director of the VNA of Care New England, following Kathy Peirce’s retirement and final day on August 9, 2022.

“With her extensive experience in the healthcare industry, especially in physical therapy, acute rehabilitation and home health, Jennifer is an ideal candidate to serve as interim president and executive director of the VNA of Care New England. I welcome her enthusiasm and commitment to the premier programs and services we offer at the VNA of Care New England,” Paari Gopalakrishnan, MD, MBA, president and COO, Kent Hospital said in a statement.

“I am proud of the work that we do at the VNA and the quality of care we provide to the community, and am honored to lead us through this transition,” said Jennifer Lee, MS, PT.

Jennifer has been a physical therapist for 24 years. Her experience includes 8 years of sub-acute rehabilitation and 16 years of home health. She joined the VNA of Care New England in 2006 as a staff physical therapist after working at Cedar Crest Sub-Acute Rehab Centre, where she served as the Clinical Director of Rehab Services. In 2010, Jenn was named the Rehab Manager and served in that capacity until 2016 when she was named Home Health Director. Jenn has been a part of the senior team of the VNA for the past six years and routinely assists with planning for daily operations at the agency.

She is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Human Science and Services and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy. Jennifer has served on both the Elder Affairs and Affordable Housing Committees in her hometown, striving to be a voice for our aging population.

Jennifer, a resident of Richmond, has two grown children and loves watching football.
