It had been scheduled for Saturday, but with the forecast calling for rain Distinctive Dance Etc. postponed its Easter egg hunt at Warwick City Park by a day. It was the right decision on the part of studio owner Stacy Capone. Sunday weather was perfect for the event that started at 1 p.m. as kids – many in their dance outfits – raced across a field to retrieve 1,200 eggs. Stacy’s orders were 24 eggs to a basket, but some kids lost count…how could that be? (Warwick Beacon photos)
