On Tuesday, National Vietnam War Veterans Day, Mayor Frank Picozzi issued a proclamation that he presented to four Warwick Vietnam War veterans, all members of Veterans of Foreign Wars posts. Picozzi deplored the treatment those returning from the war received, saying that the Vietnam War Veterans Recognition Act of 2017 designating the day is a small measure of appreciation for their service. Pictured with the mayor are Sal Caiozzo, Anthony Rodrigues, James Borrows and Michael Moriarty. (Warwick Beacon photo)
