Candidates and their supporters were prepared for rain on Primary Day and they got it. Before the showers, they greeted voters at the Scottish Rite Masonic Lodge in Pawtuxet. The Herald also caught up with Cranston native and former Herald editor, Joy Fox, who ran for the Democratic nomination for the Second Congressional District. Now a resident in Warwick , she was voter 137. “I’m feeling lucky with that number,” she said. Assisting her is poll worker Janice Costello. Her bother, Tim Fox, sister in law Ami and their family, her mother Wendy and friend Ellen McNulty look on. Polls closed after the Herald deadline.
