Follett, Dimascio make dean's lists at UMF, UConn

Follett make’s dean’s list at UMF The University of Maine at Farmington is proud to announce that Johnston resident Madison Follett made its dean’s list for the spring 2020 semester.

Located in the heart of Maine’s four-season outdoor recreational region, UMF is nationally recognized for its academic excellence, affordability and graduates’ positive career outcomes.

UMF maintains a Dean’s List each semester for those students completing a minimum of 12 credits in courses producing quality points. Students whose grade point average for the semester is equal to or greater than 3.8 are awarded high academic achievement. Students whose grade point average for the semester is less than 3.8 but equal to or greater than 3.5 are awarded academic achievement. Any incompletes must be satisfactorily completed before the student is honored with dean’s list status. DiMascio achieve’s dean’s list, graduates from UConn The University of Connecticut recently announced that Johnston’s Kristina Dimascio made the dean’s list and graduated from the school.

At the end of each semester the Dean of each school and college names to the Dean’s List those students who were registered for at least 12 credits calculable for grade points, received no grade below “C”, including the actual letter grade awarded in any course under the Pass/Fail option, earned at least 3.0 times as many grade points as the number of calculable credits recorded by the Registrar, and (4) were in at least the upper quartile of their school or college.
