Dear Editor,
Warwick, it is time for a change. Residents of Warwick can no longer afford to vote for the Democratic policies that are pushed through each legislative year.
Rhode Islanders have been living under Democratically control government for more than 80 years. We have high energy costs, and recent news of a large increase by the public utilities commission (“PUC”) this coming fall will hit everyone living in Rhode Island especially hard this winter. Food prices are sky high and those on fixed incomes are especially vulnerable.
Where are the Democratic Party’s priorities-certainly not with Warwick residents. Education has suffered with our children falling further and further behind. The Governor still has Rhode Island in a state of emergency. Enough is enough.
Rhode Island the time is now to have balance in the General Assembly. One party rule has resulted in Rhode Islanders bearing the burden of poor leadership in the General Assembly.
Let us vote for change this November 8th .
Marjorie Tudino
Republican Candidate
State Senate District 30
Warwick
