The Cranston East football team dropped its home opener against Coventry, 14-6, last Friday night. The Oakers would score early to take a 6-0 lead into the halftime break and led 14-0 late in the game. East would get on the board when Naz Millien connected on a touchdown pass to Romeo Cordeiro to set the final to 14-6. The Bolts fell to 0-1 in the loss and will travel south to take on Bishop Hendricken this Friday night. For more photos of the action, check out page XX. (Photos by Mike Zawistoski)
