Kevin Banach, who doesn’t live all that far from Conimicut Point visits the beach three or four times a week with his canine companion Gigi where they scout out trash. He said he fills at least one plastic shopping bag each visit. Kevin and Gigi were on the beach Labor Day as were lots of people. Kevin works at Electric Boat and says he looking forward to retirement that isn’t all that far away. And what will he do then? “Well,” he answered without hesitation, “be here everyday.
