Plants have been uprooted, flags removed and a wreath taken from the 9-11 Memorial to Warwick victims of that terrorism attack built by volunteers with community donations in Oakland Beach. The desecration has been the source of social media posts, raising the ire of those visiting the site. Tom Isacco, one of the original planners of the memorial who to this day continues to ensure its maintenance, said he has a “good idea” of who is responsible and publically urges them to stop what they are doing.
