A routine cleaning
Because oral health is an important part of one’s body’s wellness, Dental Associates of Rhode Island is responding to the COVID-19 crisis by exceeding their usually strict infection control protocols.
Beyond doing curbside check-ins and patient and staff health screenings, they made some other changes.
They upgraded their infection control standards by using a High-Volume Evacuator to minimize the spread of aerosols during procedures. They are also proud to introduce an electrostatic sprayer and fogger with an EPA approved COVID-19 disinfectant to sanitize the air, equipment and surfaces between each patient within minutes. They are cleaning their practice using the same tools and solutions used to clean ambulances and hospitals.
Dental Associates of RI emphasized that, “under our masks are our usual welcoming, smiling faces. We are truly overjoyed and honored to be caring for you and your families again!”
