Deaf to the falling tree

To the Editor,

If a tree falls in the forest and no one is there, does it still make a sound? According to the official website of US Customs & Border protection, in fiscal year from Oct 01, 2021 to present date (10 months) there have been 2,242,413 total enforcement actions, meaning illegal immigrants, at the border. That number is higher because it reflects only those that were apprehended; nevertheless, every 4 to 5 months the population of RI (1.09 million from US Census Bureau) is entering the USA illegally! It appears that these persons are coming here without documentation, without possessions, without skills, nothing except the clothes on their backs, and they need food, housing, clothing, medical, transportation, etc. so where are they going and how are these necessities to be provided?

The mainstream media (NYT, WP, USA, CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC & PBS) turn a deaf ear to the falling tree so it is ignored in their fake news outlets. US Secretary of DHS, Alejandro Mayorkas recently said “the border is closed, the border is secure!” Sadly, the RI Democrats- Reed, Whitehouse, Langevin and Cicciline prefer to destroy the fossil fuel industry than to stem the flow of illegals, who will never live in their backyards.

God has seen this before and took care of business in 70AD: “Son of man, thou dwellest in the midst of a rebellious house, which have eyes to see, and see not; they have ears to hear, and hear not: for they are a rebellious house.” Ezekiel 12:2
