Dancing with Dutra
DROPPING THE BEAT: The six to eleven year olds in Dutra’s Hippity Hop Crew captivate audiences and dance to some hip-hop to the song “Dancing to music makes you lose control.” (Photos by Steve Popiel)
ELEGANCE IN MOTION: The 11 to 13 year olds performed together to the song “Moon River,” which first appeared in the film “Breakfast at Tiffany’s.”
A PIECE OF SPOTLIGHT: The event’s second soloist, sixteen-year-old Libby Dextradeur performs her routine to “Piece by Piece” by Kelly Clarkson.
BLAST FROM THE PAST: A group of the school’s 16 to 17 year olds put on some outfits straight from the 70s as they dance to “California Dreamin’” by The Mamas & The Papas.
PRESCHOOL POODLES: The youngest group to perform, the three to five year olds got together to dance to “Poodles in Cranston.”
SWEET MOVES: A group of seven to nine year olds take to the gazebo stage in matching sundae outfits to dance to the music of “Ice Cream Freeze (Let’s Chill)” from Hannah Montana
