In printing the list several weeks ago of candidates who declared their run for City Council in the upcoming election, the Cranston Herald unintentionally omitted two candidates: Michael Farina, who is running as an independent for the Ward 4 seat and Carmine DePetrillo who is running as an independent for the Ward 2 seat.
The full list of individuals running for Cranston City Council was obtained from the Secretary of State’s website by searching local candidates by town. Only Democrat and Republican candidates were shown in the results; the two additional candidates were later located on the 2022 Declared Candidates Report. The Herald apologizes for the omission.
