Join a performance of the Nelken Line, the famous line dance by German choreographer Pina Bausch, at Warwick Public Library on Tuesdays, August 2, 9 & 16 at 7 p.m.
The Nelken Line has been danced across the world by amateurs, professionals, dance lovers, people who are curious about dance, the young, and the old.
Dancers make four simple gestures that represent Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter while strolling to “West End Blues” by Louis Armstrong & His Hot Five.
Learn and practice the Nelken Line with choreographer Amber Lopes on August 2 & 9. Then, dance through the library and library garden on August 16.
Spectators are welcome, so be sure to invite your friends and family to come and watch.
This dance is suitable for all. No dance experience is needed. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
