Clarification

In a story last week regarding Rep. Deborah Fellela’s reelection bid, she is quoted: “I think that would be something, I know gun safes can be pretty expensive and it could add up, the sales tax, but it gives an incentive to people to buy guns … It seems like people are buying more guns and to have a safe environment for them, especially if you have a family in the house.”

Fellela later clarified that she meant to say “an incentive to people to buy gun safes” and not guns. The additional context was added in the online version of the story.
