To the Editor,
I have seen the evil effects of mask mandates in the eyes of a four year old child. The little boy was with his grandmother. He was afraid to remove his facemask in public. Despite my gentle reassurances, he refused to do so. He became visibly upset when his grandmother removed her mask. This little boy’s spirit had been broken by the mandates. His eyes showed it.
These cruel mandates have made our children unnecessarily fearful. Real harm is being done to their confidence and sense of well-being.
We now know that the cloth masks worn by schoolchildren serve no benefit. Why then, do we continue to require that they be worn? It is time to end the mask mandate madness.
