On Saturday, Sept. 14, the Johnston Senior Center held its annual Pasta Supper fundraiser to support its programs and services.

The crowd size was limited 130 people in order to provide a dance floor, and it was a complete sellout. Food and desserts were donated by D. Palmieri’s Bakery and entertainment was provided by Ron Giorgio.

Assistant Director Millie Santilli and Center Coordinator Denise Bell organized the event.

“I want to thank our Advisory Board chair, Peter Lombardi Jr., for the wine, Briarcliff Nursing & Rehab Center, Lorraine from Cherry Hill Nursing & Rehab Center, and Vanessa from Cedar Crest Nursing & Rehab Center,” Santilli said.

Raffle prizes awarded during the evening included a variety of basket prizes and $100 worth of scratch tickets.

“The annual JSC Pasta Supper was a huge success,” Santilli said. “We hosted 130 guest who danced the night away. We love having Ron Giorgio entertain for us – he is such a wonderful young man with so much talent. If you close your eyes, you would think Sinatra was in the room. I hope he doesn’t forget us when he becomes a star.”
