Anne (Marcure) Morin, 80, of West Warwick, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at Greenville Center. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Viola (Santilli) Marcure. She was the beloved wife of Robert H. Morin.
Anne worked at Stanley Bostitch in the mail room, as well as an Insurance Company and several Jewelry Companies. She later worked in the office at the West Valley Inn for almost 20 years before retiring in 2001. She enjoyed being retired, keeping busy with exercise, walking, yoga, Curves, movies, and shopping. She was a communicant of St. Catherine of Siena Church in Apponaug where she was a member of the Prayer Shawl Ministry and donated items and baked goods for the Christmas Bazaar. She was also a volunteer at the Geriatric Center at Warwick Central Baptist Church and the Friendly Visitors.
Anne loved her family very much, especially her children and grandchildren, spending as much time with them as she possibly could.
She is survived by her son, Robert Hathaway, her daughter, Charlotte Phillips and her husband Bill, her grandchildren, Victoria, Kevin, Julia, Leeann, Kate, and Sara, her sister-in-law Elaine, and her nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Coleen Hathaway and her brothers, Carmine Marcure and Ernest Marcure.
Her Funeral will be held on Monday, May 23, 2022, at 8:45AM from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00AM at Sacred Heart Church, 820 Providence St, West Warwick. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in West Warwick.
