Anna M. Palmer, age 97, formerly of Warwick, passed away peacefully on
Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at St. Elizabeth Home, E. Greenwich.  She
was the beloved wife of the late Roger E. Palmer.   Born on the family
farm in So Attleboro, MA, a daughter of the late Theodore and Antoinette
(Paquette)  Charron, she lived in Warwick for 30 years before moving to
St. Elizabeth’s earlier this year.

She is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Samantha and
Thomas “Butch” LeGrett of Canandaigua, NY, sister Roselyn Oliveira of
Seekonk, MA and brother Donald Charron of Warwick.   She was the sister
of the late George, Richard, Theodore and Baby David Charron, and
Dolores Landry.   She leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews.
Ann’s last 7 months were made very special, comfortable and enjoyable by
adventures with her loving friend Rita, and also the exceptional care
provided by the entire staff at St. Elizabeth’s. The family will be
eternally grateful.

Ann was an Executive Secretary with many years at Premier Thread
Company.  Her attention to detail was remarkable.
Anyone who knew Ann, knew her love for life and nature.    She hiked
into the Grand Canyon and climbed Mt. Whitney, CA (14,494 feet), canoed
the Okefenokee Wildlife Refuge, GA and the Everglades, FL.  She enjoyed
skiing, ballroom dancing, golf, and birding.  She really lived….   Ann
was a lifetime member of the Audubon Society of RI, Pilgrim Lutheran
Church, Appalachian Mountain Club and Rose Island Lighthouse Foundation.

A memorial service to celebrate Ann’s life will be held Thursday,
December 8 at 10am at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 1817 Warwick Avenue,
Warwick.  Burial will be in the Wildwood Cemetery in Gardner, MA at a
later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Ann’s memory to the Audubon Society of
RI, 12 Sanderson Road, Smithfield, RI 02917 (asri.org) would be
appreciated.
