The Herald sports department unveiled its All-City sports teams, celebrating some of Cranston’s best athletes from this past winter season. Pictured is Gianna Desmarais of Cranston West, who was named the Gymnast of the Year after winning the all-around title as a sophomore. Desmarais also defended her vault title while taking third on the beam. She became the second person to win an all-around title in Cranston West program history and was the city’s lone state champion this winter. See the entire list in sports, page 13.
