Adopted Ordinances

At a recent meeting of The Johnston Town Council, the Council did adopt the following Ordinances effective immediately:

Ordinance 2020-5: An Ordinance amending Chapter 156, “Electrical Standards” by adding thereto Section 4 “Abandonment or Decommissioning of Solar Energy Systems. Said Ordinance sets regulations for the removal of un-needed solar energy systems

Ordinance 2020-7: An Ordinance ordering the assessment and collection of property tax on the ratable real estate, tangible personal property and excise tax on registered motor vehicles and trailers.

Ordinance 2020-8: An Ordinance related to the naming of the Town of Johnston Chief Richard S. Tamburini Law Enforcement Complex. Said Ordinance renames the Police Department Headquarters after Chief Richard S. Tamburini

Said Ordinances are on file and available for review in the Office of the Town Clerk.
