Winsor Hill students demonstrate goodwill with unique thank-you messages

Posted

The students in Rosemary Petrucci’s fourth-grade class at Winsor Hill Elementary School are much more than rock-solid International Goodwill Ambassadors with students at Nagoya Gakuin University in Japan by way of a Pen Pal Postcard Program.

Just last week, the students wrote thank-you messages to show teacher appreciation to all staff members at the school using Japanese symbols they painted on rocks. They then presented them to each classroom teacher to thank them for being great leaders.

They also posted various messages, pictures and graphics on a creative billboard at the entrance to Room 4 at Winsor Hill as part of a Thanksgiving event. (Text and photo by Pete Fontaine)
