Warwick Symphony presents "Elijah" #1

In collaboration with the University of Rhode Island Symphony, Concert Choir, U-Chorus, and singers from choral organizations across the Ocean State, WSO will present Mendelssohn’s “Elijah” featuring Norma Caiazza- soprano, Caroline O’Dwyer- mezzo, Kilian Mooney- tenor, and Rene de la Garza- baritone. Also programmed, “Nun Danket Alle Gott” by J.S. Bach, arranged for brass and percussion, and the premiere of “I Am With You” for Viola Ensemble in memory of Ernest Nordman by URI student composer Katherine Loo. This concert series is made possible in part by a grant from the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts, through an appropriation by the Rhode Island General Assembly and a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. Two performances will be offered on:

Saturday- December 1, 2018 @ 8:00pm

URI Fine Arts Center- Recital Hall: 105 Upper College Road, Kingston 02881

Sunday- December 2, 2018 @ 7:30pm

St. Timothy’s Church: 1799 Warwick Avenue, Warwick 02889
