In keeping with his Thanksgiving tradition, Mayor Joseph Polisena presented 135 income-qualified Johnston residents with a $25 gift certificate Thursday morning at the Johnston Senior Center. The mayor’s administrative assistant Janet Whitely (seated right) and Lois Marandola (seated left) of the Human Resources Department distributed the gifts. Some of the happy people who picked up their certificates were Rosie Susi, Giulia DiCenso and Frank DiCenso.
