One last look

Members of the Johnston High School outdoor track and field team made noise at the 2019 State Championships at Brown University on June first.

Johnston sophomore Lala Olagundoye captured first place in the high jump competition, following up on her first –place finish at the indoor state championship. Olagundoye also took seventh in the long jump.

Fellow sophomore Brynn Roche joined her, taking 13th in the high jump, while senior Sean Young placed 11th in the 200 meter.

Pictured is the trio at Brown at the conclusion of the meet. Olagundoye was featured in last week’s edition of the Johnston Sun Rise.
