The Johnston Parks and Recreation Department, along with the Johnston Community Center Association and Mayor Joseph Polisena, host the annual holiday festival this Saturday, Dec. 8, at War Memorial Park. The event runs from 12 to 3 p.m., with Santa Claus available for photos during that time and hayrides from 12 to 2 p.m. Guests will enjoy free hayrides, sing-a-longs, hot chocolate, food and refreshments.
