The time is now

To the Editor:

To the thousands of Johnston residents in District IV and V who were not given a chance to fight the construction of the Citizens Bank Campus, and are suffering a huge change to their lifestyle or just dealing with the nightmare of living in a war zone of construction and seemingly endless dead end detours, it’s your time to get retribution.

To all Johnston residents that own, pay to maintain, and for many years enjoyed the beautiful Oak Swamp recreational lake, but now are denied access so the lake front property owners can privatize it just for them. It’s your time to get the lake back for the people who own it.

To all the Johnston residents, businesses and others who have had their problems ignored, or have suffered bullying, abuse, slander, financial or personal injury from this present administration. It is election time and you have a chance to settle the score.

To all Johnston residents that have not experienced or are just not aware of the unlawful actions of this administration please check some of the latest news articles on what the mayor pays for campaign headquarters, the case of Fuoco vs. Polisena, and the closing of the Music Man Café, or just go to the next Town Council Meeting July 9 and see what is going on.

Johnston has a new mayoral candidate Brenda Lynn Leone, a strong, educated, intelligent lady who loves the town she was raised in and wants to fight for the right things. Please step up to meet her as she campaigns. She will need your support to help her overpower the present political machine that does not follow the law.

Please spread the word about Brenda Leone’s campaign to the people that are not aware of what is going on in Johnston, we need a change to help all the victims and stop the bullying.
