The drive to give back

Mike and Nu Illiano and the St. Thomas Knights of Columbus would like to thank everyone who participated in the “Baby Francesca Blood Drive” that was held on Sunday, Sept. 15. Sixty-one people donated blood on Sunday while 13 were deferred to another time, for a total of 74 donors. There were two additional donors before the event and 15 who attempted to donate. In total, 91 people came forward, with 76 donating blood on behalf of Baby Francesca, and more than $600 was raised for the Rhode Island Blood Center. “Thank you” doesn’t seem quite enough to say but “Thank you, Thank you, Thank you” is a start.
