Teolinda A. “Tillie” (DiFazio) Corvese, 85, of Johnston passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Friday, July 28, 2017, at home. She was the beloved wife of fifty-six years to Carmine “Cal” Corvese, Jr.

Born in Johnston, on April 22, 193, she was one of thirteen children to the late Mariano and Rosa (Paliotto) DiFazio. Linda as she was also known, was a co-owner in the family fruit and produce business for fifty years before her retirement. She was a graduate of Mount Pleasant High School. Tillie was a kind and generous woman, known for her understanding, when people had financial difficulties, the children always got a treat.

Besides her husband she is survived by her loving children, Carlene A. Andrea of Hope, Kenneth J. Corvese of Providence, and Edward M. Corvese and his wife Yana of Weymouth, MA. Tillie was the cherished grandmother of Brian Andrea, Jr. and his fiancée Kaitlin Mello. She was the sister of Susie Cardillo, Etta Marrocco both of Johnston, Adele Milnes of Hope, and Lucy Cherubino of FL, and the late Christina DiLanna, Marco, Mario, Angelo, John, Albert and Ernest DiFazio, and Annie Barone.

Funeral from the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston was on Wednesday, August 2nd, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco Church, 927 Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Burial was in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
