School spirit

It may have been Halloween, but at Johnston’s Sarah Dyer Barnes Elementary School they called it Spirit Day.

Students were decked out in a variety of orange, black and white attire during the event, which was coordinated by the Parent-Teacher Organization.

Spirit Day was the second such themed day – the first being Pink Out in honor of the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Foundation – and it was filled with a variety of special spirit from children in all grades.
