On Sunday, Feb. 16, the Kempe family held a Quarter Auction at Spirito’s Restaurant, located in the Kelley-Gazzarro VFW Post 2812 located on Plainfield Pike in Cranston. Roughly 100 people took part in the event, and all proceeds will benefit the American Heart Association. In addition to the Quarter Auction, the event featured a straw auction and 50-50 raffle.
