Richard L. “Dick” O’Connell, Jr., age 83, of Greenwich Farms, Minnesota Avenue, Warwick, and formerly of Toledo Avenue, Warwick, died on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at home.
Born in Providence, the son of the late Richard L. and Alice E. (Clegg) O’Connell, he lived in Warwick since 1990. Mr. O’Connell served with the United States Army for twenty years, retiring as a Chief Warrant Officer 4. He was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was the friend of Deborah V. Boulay, and her husband, Jonathan R. Boulay, of Warwick.
His funeral services will be private. Burial will be in Ft. Bliss National Cemetery in El Paso, Texas.
