A check through the RI Registry and the DMV found that both Bradford’s license and registration were suspended, according to the report. Bradford was charged with duty to stop, driving with a suspended license, operation of a vehicle when registration is suspended, and laned roadway violations. WARRANT

On Sept. 7 at approximately 2:10 p.m. Officers Joseph Anderson and Andrew Broccoli responded to 196 Simmonsville Ave., Apt. 1 for a report of an altercation in progress. At the scene they spoke with a resident of the apartment who stated that there was no altercation, but that his television had been louder than usual and that caused him and two guests to speak loudly. The other two parties at the residents corroborated the same story.

While on scene, officers found no signs that an altercation had occurred. However, while running routine background checks on those in the apartment, it was discovered that Steven Lucia, 46, of 21 Vermont St. in Johnston, had two active Family Court warrants. He was then taken into custody and transported to police headquarters where he was processed. He was later transported to the ACI.

RECKLESS DRIVING

While stopped at the intersection of Hartford and Atwood avenues on Sept. 3 around 1:30 p.m., Sergeant Dennis Peacock heard a loud screeching of tires. He then turned right towards the Planet Fitness parking lot and observed a black vehicle drifting and doing donuts in the parking lot at a high rate of speed under wet weather conditions.

Sergeant Peacock then entered the parking lot of Planet Fitness and observed the black BMW continue to operate in a reckless manner. He also observed patrons running from their vehicles from the parking lot onto the sidewalk, according to the report.

As the Sergeant approached the vehicle, it began to exit the east side of the parking lot and was detained on Atwood Avenue. The driver, identified as Jordan Linsky, 20, of 34 Falmouth St. in Johnston, is quoted as telling the officer “I was only doing donuts, don’t see what the big deal is.” A check found that the Massachusetts plates on the car were not active, and that the vehicle was not actively registered. Linsky was then taken into custody and transported to police headquarters. He was charged with reckless driving, operating an unregistered vehicle, and improper use of registration.

The officer then made contact with the man, identified as Joshua Bunker, 32, of 99 Yeoman Ave. in Cranston. Bunker told the officer that he had been drinking and was attempting to walk to his residence. A background check revealed that Bunker had three active warrants with the Superior Court for failure to appear for sentencing and another for access to a computer for fraud. All warrants were hold without bail warrants.

Bunker was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters for processing. He was then held to await transportation to the ACI.
